अम्बेडकरनगर जनपद में खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं औषधि प्रशासन द्वारा विशेष अभियान चलाया गया है, जिसके तहत जनपद के विभिन्न स्थानों पर संचालित प्रतिष्ठानों का औचक निरीक्षण किया गया है।
इस अभियान के दौरान, टाण्डा, जलालपुर, मामपुर नरियांव, भीटी, अकबरपुर, जहांगीरगंज, अन्नावां बाजार, सैदापुर एवं कटेहरी से खुले पनीर के 14, पैक्ड पनीर अमूल ब्राण्ड का 01 एवं पैक्ड पनीर पराग ब्राण्ड का 01 नमूना,
मायोनीज के 03 नमूने एवं पीनट बटर के 04 नमूने, कुल 23 नमूनें संग्रहित किए गए हैं। इन नमूनों की जांच रिपोर्ट प्रयोगशाला से प्राप्त होने के उपरांत नियमानुसार अग्रिम कार्यवाही प्रचालित की जाएगी।
जांच टीम में मुख्य खाद्य सुरक्षा अधिकारी सुरेंद्र वर्मा के साथ खाद्य सुरक्षा अधिकारी श्री अमित कुमार पांडेय, श्री दिनेश कुमार राय, ओम प्रकाश, श्री पुरंदर यादव, श्री आदर्श प्रताप, श्रीमती मनीषा सिंह तथा श्री चंद्र प्रकाश यादव सम्मिलित रहे हैं।
इसके अलावा, अपर जिलाधिकारी (वि0/रा0) अम्बेडकरनगर के न्यायालय द्वारा विचाराधीन 06 वादों को निर्णीत करते हुए रू0 67000 का अर्थदंड सम्बन्धित विक्रेताओं पर अधिरोपित किया गया है।
यह कार्रवाई अधोमानक/वाह्य तत्वयुक्त खाद्य पदार्थों की बिक्री तथा बिना वैध पंजीकरण प्राप्त कर खाद्य कारोबार संचालित करने वाले खाद्य कारोबारकर्ताओं के विरुद्ध की गई है।
